We are looking for a talented Marketing Manager – Mobile Power to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Power Systems Business Segment in Minneapolis, MN

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Using broad marketing functional skills, implements the marketing strategy for an identified product line or geography. Manages multi-cultural teams to successfully achieve and exceed business goals.

  • Implements the global marketing strategy in identified product line or geography.Implements medium-term and annual marketing plans; identifies barriers to success and develops solutions for smooth execution of the plan.

  • Manages ongoing market research to understand market trends and potential and product applications in identified markets; uses market research to inform business decisions and priorities.

  • Leads marketing efforts for value package marketing activities to create a comparative advantage and meet profitability goals. Leverages the competencies in the global marketing team, and represents identified product line or geography in global marketing initiatives.

  • Translates the global brand strategy for the identified product line or geography.Provides management, direction and development to a multi-cultural marketing team which may be based in several locations.

  • Manages marketing and sales systems and processes including the customer satisfaction measurement process. Leverages relevant channel staff, knowledge, or processes; integrates

  • Voice of the Customer into marketing plans.Coaches and motivates marketing staff; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skills and development needs.


To be successful in this role you will need the following:


Strong experience required, including supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge of and experience using the four P's of marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) required.

  • Shape and enable the global Mobile Power market strategy through the execution of SMART goals and KPIs in each of the 4 P’s (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) in collaboration with the Global Marketing Leader and Mobile Power Leadership team.

  • Champion ongoing analysis of segment profitability and identification of near term improvements such as cost reduction opportunities working closely with the finance and product management

  • Be an active stakeholder of the mobile power technical team to balance customer requirements and financial performance goals in the long-term product plan.

  • Lead and collaborate with marketing communications to execute a global integrated marketing plan (IMP) which promotes the Mobile Power business and our value proposition through a multi-channel strategy

  • Support promotional and marketing events as required such as industry events, dealer meetings, and virtual or physical training events

  • Participate in annual business planning processes such as the Annual Operating Plan, Product Planning Process, and Strategic Planning Processes

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
