This is an exciting opportunity for Product Management Managers - Senior – Marketing #TN107 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Manages the project management activities for assigned functional areas, including coordinating, prioritizing, negotiating, and managing the execution of all assigned projects and contracts.

  • Manages, develops, and implements programs composed of multiple cross functional projects.

  • Partners with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion.

  • Collaborate with business management and engineering teams to identify short and long-term projects to be undertaken, perform feasibility needs analysis to determine project timelines, and manage the analysis, project identification, budget, design, communication, and integration of project plans.

  • Designs project plans, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.

  • Serve as the marketing representative in continuous improvement activities and on Value Package Introduction project teams.

  • Uses experience in Project Issue and Risk Management to Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and processes to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of negative events or to maximize the realization of positive events.

  • Confer with other management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures, and consult and negotiate with stakeholders to prepare project specifications and requirements.

  • Utilize Scope Management tools and scope-defining documents such as Voice of the Customer and Value Package Profile in order to proactively manage connections between multiple levels of scope detail in related additional documents such as Tech Profiles.

  • Perform business planning and strategic analysis and lead project teams in the development of a project risk summary and help project managers assess project risk through use of quality tools and identify and manage actions to mitigate risks.

  • Conduct market research and develop marketing communication plans for electrical engineering products and systems.

  • Oversee the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and ensure timely launch and resolve distribution issues associated with accounts.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:

  • Position requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Manager, Marketing Manager or related position.

  • Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Manager, Marketing Manager or related position.

JOB SITE: Nashville, Tennessee

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
