Description

  • Supports projects, conducts studies and creates reports to improve the development of market intelligence used to inform strategies and business decisions. Partners with business, strategy, and functional groups to ensure adequate market intelligence is available and considered in decision making.

  • Supports the development and deployment of effective methods to monitor relevant market trends, competitive threats, and other market activity.

  • Supports special projects and provides market input to further the understanding of specific aspects of the market.

  • Collaborates with business teams in the development of the market intelligence required to support business decisions.

  • Identifies and monitors market developments, synthesizes and communicates market trends, and identifies competitive threats.

  • Contributes to the development of an unbiased, regular market understanding through the generation of data and insights.

  • Actively pursues deeper knowledge of the market through internal and external sources.

  • Promotes a culture of intelligence gathering, insights generation and value-added support.

  • Facilitates market- and segment-specific information gathering and sharing through appropriate channels.

  • Regular tracking data and intelligence including but not limited to macro indicators, competition intelligence, market signpost

  • Consolidate industry data and establish centralize MI data lake by close work with MI segments leaders and relative functions in the organization

  • Manage the data suppliers to ensure timely and correctly data collecting

  • Develop and conduct the process to define the link between key signpost and market trends

  • Define the user profile and use cases and conduct the developing of the analyze tool as well as visualization product to meet user demand

  • Develop the training courses and training process to ensure the users well understand the data standard and analyze tool as well as the visualization products

  • Built and operate the data and market intelligence community to support an efficient and timely interaction and support the continuous iteration

  • Develop and operate the market insights consensus process to final reaching consensus with key stakeholders across the organization to support the right business decision making

  • Work with IT team to ensure the data and intelligence standardizing and uploading process work well and deliver on time

  • Deriving Market Insights - Researches and collects market and competitor's product data, trends, and positioning using a variety of primary and secondary sources; analyzes the information to develop strategic responses, propose projects and solutions, and appropriately allocate resources in order to maximize business value.

  • Intuitive Listening And Adapting Solutions - Translates needs, expectations, or asks from customers, stakeholders, etc. into actionable solutions through active listening and intuition; chooses or produces solutions (e.g. process change, tool, product, service, etc.) to meet or exceed the customers’ or stakeholders’ needs or expectations or to provide value.

  • Market Analysis - Researches information using meaningful and valid sources and data to expand your knowledge of markets; analyzes findings by connecting dots and identifying trends to create a coherent image of the market; summarizes relevant insights by condensing, prioritizing, and translating how these impact our business.

  • Market Forecasting - Analyzes and interprets market data from a variety of internal and external sources and modeling to formulate unbiased market projections specific to business segment.

  • Market Positioning - Compiles market overview and trends to build frameworks which provide market insights to the decision making process

  • Storytelling - Develops and delivers a compelling narrative which resonates with a target audience and influences a decision or course of action.

  • Project Management - Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project").

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, business administration, or related subject required

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in strategy, business, marketing, or market research

  • Market intelligence or business experience preferred
